Our packages run from $1,550 to $6,900 per year depending on grade band and hours included. Middle school (7th-8th) starts at $1,550 for 8 hours. High school packages are $1,950 for 10 hours, $3,950 for 20 hours, and $6,900 for 35 hours. These are fixed annual rates, not open-ended hourly billing, so families know the full cost upfront with no surprise overages. Every tier works out to about $195 an hour, so a larger package is not a volume discount — it simply includes more work between sessions, like essay revisions, college list research, and scholarship support.
Do you offer a refund or money-back guarantee?
Yes, with one honest limit: we will never tie a refund to an admissions decision, because no consultant can ethically guarantee an outcome. What we do guarantee is fit. If you decide within your first two sessions that we are not the right match, we refund your package in full, no questions asked. After that, you can cancel at any time and receive a refund for your unused hours, with hours already used billed at our standard single-session rate.
Is College OnPoint really 100% online? How does remote counseling work?
Yes — every session is conducted remotely by video, so your student can work with the right counselor regardless of where you live. Sessions cover strategy, essays, testing plans, and application work using shared documents and screen sharing, the same way in-person sessions would, just without the commute.
What is the difference between the 7th-8th, 9th-10th, and 11th-12th grade packages?
Each package is built around what actually matters at that stage. Middle school (7th-8th) focuses on academic foundations, course planning, and exploration. Early high school (9th-10th) adds activity strategy, testing timelines, and building a genuine area of strength. Upper high school (11th-12th) shifts to execution: finalizing the college list, essays, applications, and financial aid strategy.
Do you help with financial aid and scholarships?

Can you help with just essays or application review, not full-year counseling?
Yes. Our Application Review service is a standalone option for students who want expert eyes on essays and a completed application without a full-year engagement. It's a good fit for students who've done most of the work themselves and want a final, expert pass before submitting.
When during the year can we start? Do we have to start in the fall?
You can start any time — there's no fixed enrollment window. That said, starting earlier in a school year (rather than mid-application-season) gives a counselor more runway to build a real strategy instead of just triaging deadlines. Many families start over the summer to prepare for the year ahead.
